Khao Lak in Thailand is a part of the Khao Lak - Laem Ru National Park in Phang Nga Province.Most number of the visitors love the peaceful and the quiet atmosphere in Khao- Lak as some rocky outcrops separate the beach from the Sea giving an impression of a private beach.Visitors find Khao-Lak beach more attractive for its peaceful atmosphere.Not having any bars or loud entertainment near the beach is one more reason why most of the travellers prefer Khao-Lak beach.
Behind the beach is the Khao Lak Mountain which gives the name o that area and on the mountain there is a Chinese Shrine dedicated to the wizard of that mountain.The waterfalls in the green hills and the unique species of plants and wildlife within the National Park add some more beauty to Khao-Lak.
